Strong foundations of development for our country can only be laid with educated, skillful and trained human resource. Currently Pakistan is sixth most populous country in the world with 212 million people. There are more young people in Pakistan today that makes the world’s largest youth populations with 64 % are under the age of 30. If we manage to educate and skill this surging youth population, it could help to fuel the country’s economic growth and stability. Next to population, the critical challenge to our country is the highest number of out-of-school children worldwide after Nigeria: 22.8 million age 5 to 16 (44% of this age group did not attend schools). The attrition rates increase substantially as children progress up the educational ladder.
